Microsoft Announces AI Initiatives Aligned with White House Commitments

Microsoft has unveiled a series of strategic AI initiatives in alignment with the WHITE House's AI Education Executive Order. The tech giant aims to empower educators and students by providing cutting-edge AI tools and training, addressing the rapid advancements in AI technology.

Key initiatives include free access to Microsoft 365 Personal for college students, including community colleges, for 12 months. This offer includes essential tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, integrated with Microsoft's AI assistant, Copilot. The offer is available until October 31, 2025.

Microsoft's Chairman and CEO, Satya Nadella, outlined these commitments at a White House AI Education Task Force meeting, emphasizing the company's focus on fostering economic opportunities through AI education.
